Meeting Place: Building 2, Montgomery County Fairgrounds, Gaithersburg, MD

Directions: Take I-270 to the Gaithersburg/Montgomery Village Exit (Route 124 East). Turn right at Route 355. Go three stop lights, and turn right at Chestnut Street. Turn right into the fairgrounds just before the railroad tracks. As soon as you have passed the building with the murals painted on the side, turn right. Building 2 is the large building with the curved roof.

2008 CLUB MEETING DATES

Please put these dates on your calendars. Note, some are not 2^nd Wednesday due to Fairgrounds conflicts. February 13, March 12, April 9, May 10 Spring Show, June 11, July-No Meeting, August 8-16 Fair, Sept. 10, October 15 (3rd Wednesday), November 12, December 10 Christmas Party.

******************************************************************************************                                             MINUTES FROM JANUARY MEETING

Judge Chris Howell had to cancel judging at our Spring Show due to open heart surgery. Freda Kraus graciously agreed to judge in his place. Our judges will be Mike Adams-Ohio, Jeff Albright-Florida, Robert Frizzell-Maryland, Josh Humphries-Tennessee, Freda Kraus-Maryland, and Rusty Westhoff-Tennessee. Standby Judge will be Wendy Feaga-Maryland. The vendor for the show will be Pointer Hill. The 4-H will do the snacks and drinks again. Margo Lehman will do the raffle again. We need volunteers to help her at the raffle table. Barbara Gesswein obtained the ARBA Sanctions long ago. She will send for the Specialty Club Sanctions shortly. She is working on the Spring Show Catalog so it will be ready to start giving out at the York show.

Committee Apointments: Historian-Judy Osborn, Auditing-Larry Zimmerman, Program-Barbara Gesswein, and Hospitality-Sharon Zimmerman.
